…getting back into it…

…three weeks vacation (from work AND renovating) kickstarts craftiness…
and somehow i didn’t want to pick up any unfinished business, and instead started knitting dishcloths for my new kitchen…. The classic ballband dishcloth of course, this time knitted in Paris from Garnstudio. 4 mm needles.

i did change the pattern a bit, mine don’t look like flying geese…
and this last one is of course my favorite because it’s reversible!! (anyone know any reversible patterns, let me know – i like’em!)

i eagerly joined the christmas-present-along at hobbyboden, but little did i know how hard it was actually getting anything done before the end of the month! but thank you, ballband, quick and simple!

discovered these dishcloths at criminy jickets blog the other day, and am on my way with the second one! i so like that they look pretty on both sides

ballband dishcloth

yarn: safran from garnstudio
colours: #30 (turquoise) / #29 (orange)
needles: 3 1/2
gauge: 22 stiches / 10 cm
finished size: 17 cm x 17 cm
 
one dishcloth finished in an evening. don’t like that it has a “wrong” side though… pattern from the book mason-dixon knitting, but you can also find a similar free pattern here.
